Infrastructure is the necessary faculties and systems that support the backbone of our modern society. For example, bridges, roads, sidewalks, public transportations are some examples of infrastructure. We may take these examples for granted because we use them every day and they seem to work. I called infrastructure the invisible foundation of any modern society without any infrastructure a modern society cannot function. Therefore we society needs to invest in their infrastructure to prevent any problems caused by an aging infrastructure and upgrade aging infrastructure to more modern infrastructure. As the society population grows we need to invest in infrastructure to meet the needs of the growing population. We should not have to wait for the house to start flooding when there was a leak in the house we should fix the leak before it floods the house that the same logic could be applied to infrastructure. Infrastructure may not be the most eye-catching thing but without it, modern society will not function.
